Dalchini Tomintoul — Indian & Indo-Chinese Dining in the Cairngorms

The Square, Tomintoul · Cairngorms National Park

Indian & Indo-Chinese,
In the Heart of the Highlands

A warm plate at the top of Scotland — right where the Cairngorms meet the village square.

Tomintoul sits higher than any other village in the Highlands, and Dalchini sits right in its square — a proper kitchen turning out Indian curries and Indo-Chinese classics for everyone who's spent the day on the hills, the whisky trail, or the road in. Pull up a chair. This is where the day ends well.

The Setting

Right in the Village Square

Dalchini sits inside Tomintoul's tidy Georgian square, a short walk from wherever you're staying and a short drive from the Speyside distilleries, the Lecht Ski Centre, and the walking trails threading out across the Glenlivet Estate.

We also host private parties & events — we're sure it will be private.
